I’m a generalist designer interested in Gameplay, UX, and Technical Design.
I have worked at star stable since 2021, in 3 live games, 4 roles, in teams sizes from 100 to 1.

Horsecare simulator

Horses is a live service horsecare simulator game with 400k+ monthly active users, 4.3 avg rating, and 15m+ downloads. It has historically been the primary Star Stable experience on mobile.

In a team of two (later downsized to one) I was paired with a producer / Backend Developer. I was the end-to-end owner of all playerfacing features.

During this project I:

  • Re-directed the game and overhauled core gameplay loops and progression systems to modernize the experience.

  • Built custom debug tools and workflow improvements to maximize iteration speed.

  • Improved UX to reduce player friction and improve funnels.
  • Validated the quality of design changes through telemetry and playtests.
  • Managed Releases to ensure that quality met company standards.

Wildsong was a cozy crossplatform adventure game where the player bonds with animals and goes on quests.

My role was the techical extension of the design team, starting as a programmer, and then transitioning into a technical designer role. I worked with game & UX designers to conceptualize and iterate on our gameplay systems, while also juggling C#-programmer duties.
